Position Overview:
The Project Management Officer (PMO) will be responsible for the definition and maintenance of the standards of project management and processes.
You will support the successful delivery of projects undertaken by the company, through effective facilitation, tracking and reporting. You need to share relevant information with other divisions or managers in their organization, monitor expenditures and create detailed reports for upper management.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Must have completed Senior Certificate / Matric / Grade 12
- Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Engineering, Finance/Accounting, project management, or related field (master’s degree-an advantage).
- Preferably at least 3+ years of experience as a Project Management Officer
- SAP Business One User Experience (advantageous)
- MARI Project - Project Management Software User Experience (advantageous)
Responsibilities:
- Project Documentation
- New and existing customer project setup and administration on Seidor systems
- Resource scheduling on open projects (contracts / tasks)
- Vetting for All Proposals / Pricing indications
- Project overview – budget control and change requests
- Project procurement contract (purchase orders and time capture on behalf of subcontractors)
- Software renewals (maintain)
- Subscriptions (maintain)
- System invoicing preparation (all customer components)
- Intercompany billing (customer and purchase orders)
- Intercompany report (monthly)
- Timesheets monitor against open tasks – follow up on status with assigned consulting team
- Travel records – customer approvals for invoicing and staff claims related report per month
- Project closure (contract completion after final billing)
- Project closure (closure with project team and handover to support facilitate)
- Assist and overview of monthly WIP report
- SAP License Requests
- Add-On License Requests
- SAP Portal Issues – License Queries Only
- SAP Portal – s users for new employees and manage customer accounts
- New Operations staff – induction on project management system for time capture.
- Dealing with ad-hoc business queries as required by management from time to time
